March 14, 2018 Wednesday Letter

Dear Parents & Guardians,

We are very proud of our students who have been preparing to perform at our Annual Talent Show, Spaghetti Dinner & Auction this Thursday! Dinner will be served at 6:00 and the show begins at 7:00. It is our goal to honor and support all types of development in our students, not just academics. When our students have the opportunity to perform, they are learning so much more than a textbook can offer. Please join us at this PCA-sponsored event to support our students on stage and help us raise funds for tuition assistance for families in need.

All the best,

Lori Riti

NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

3rd QUARTER CONFERENCES

Enclosed you will find your Conference Confirmation if either you or your child’s teachers requested a conference. Please sign the form and return it by tomorrow. Thanks!

NEW DISMISSAL PROCEDURE BEGINS ON MARCH 26

When we return from spring break on March 26, we will add a new procedure to dismissal time. Enclosed are two copies of a green “Pick-Up Card” with your child’s last name printed on them. You or your authorized designee are asked to place the Pick-Up card on your vehicle’s dashboard on the driver’s side. School personnel will release students only to vehicles that have the Pick-Up Card displayed. If the card is not available, the parent or other person listed on the Authorized Pick-Up List will be asked to park and come into the office to pick up their child. It is our goal that this new procedure will add yet another layer of security at school. We appreciate your understanding and support!

For students who are dismissed from clubs and sports that meet after school, parents will need to park their vehicle and walk to the gate where the students and club leader or coach will be waiting with a clipboard to sign out your child. Students will no longer be permitted to walk directly to the car.
