Financial Aid

The following state scholarships may be available for your child.
While a child may meet the eligibility requirements for more than one state scholarship, only one can be utilized during a calendar year.

Please note, a parentally placed private school student with a disability does not have an individual right to receive some or all of the special education and related services that the student would receive if enrolled in a public school under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

  • The FES-UA provides scholarships to eligible students for approved services and products.

The average FES-UA award is $10,000. To be eligible a student must:

    • Reside in Florida
    • Have a diagnosed disability that meets eligibility requirements (includes Autism
    • Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Language Impairment, Specific Learning Disability, and others)
    • Have an IEP or a formal diagnosis from a licensed physician or psychologist

The FES-UA is not based on financial need

The FES-UA is administered by two organizations:

  • The Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC) and Family Empowerment Scholarship – Education Opportunities (FES-EO) provides scholarships to low-income families

These scholarships are administered by two organizations:

    • Hope Scholarships are available to Florida public school students who have been bullied
    • The Hope Scholarship is not based on financial need
    • De LaSalle Scholarships are based on financial need. No child should be denied access to a quality education, so we encourage any family in need of assistance to apply online.
    • Receipt of one of the state scholarships listed above does not disqualify a family for a De LaSalle Academy Scholarship
    • De LaSalle Academy utilizes FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment to help evaluate requests for financial aid
