REGISTRATION & TUITION ASSISTANCE IS DUE FRIDAY!

Dear Families,

  • The deadline for completing the registration process for returning students is March 28th, 2025
  • Enrollment packets that are completed after March 28th, 2025 will be charged an additional $25 late fee.
  • Packets completed after April 11th, 2025 will be charged an additional $50 late fee. These late fees will be charged to your FACTS account if applicable.

To ensure your child’s enrollment for next year, please follow the directions below.

De LaSalle Academy Scholarship/Tuition Assistance
Families seeking tuition assistance through the De LaSalle Academy Scholarship Fund must complete the FACTS application each year. Please note that our scholarship pool is very limited, and awards will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis, based on financial need.

Once enrollment is complete, the Family Portal will display a link to apply for grant and aid. Assistance is based on financial need and is separate from state scholarship programs. FACTS applications and supporting documents must be submitted to FACTS by March 28th, 2025 Due to the limited available funds this is a hard deadline and families who do not complete the tuition assistance application prior to March 28th, will not receive funding.

Applications are not complete until verified by the support documents described below. Awards will be determined on a rolling basis. Outstanding fees for the current school year will be taken into consideration when reviewing applications.

Some important reminders regarding re-registration and tuition assistance:
• It is important to complete the re-registration process on time, as applications from new students will be considered for any openings after March 28th, 2025.
• Applications for re-registration will be considered for families who are current with the 2024/2025 tuition and school fees and have paid the 2025/26 registration fee.

Applications for tuition assistance will be considered upon completion of all items above and meeting the following criteria:

1. FACTS has received your verification of income by electronic upload, fax, or by mail. REQUIRED: Copy of 2023 1040 Tax Return – AND – 2024 W-2s.

2. There is a space at the end of the application where families can provide additional details about their financial situation. Please take the time to complete this section.
The FACTS company will provide an electronic report, including verification of receipt of tax documents, to the De LaSalle Tuition Assistance Committee. The committee expects to make award determinations and issue Tuition Contracts on a rolling basis.

MAP Testing April 8th-10th

Children learn better –and faster– when teachers have a clear picture of what each student knows and is ready to learn next. That’s why a group of educators and researchers founded NWEA, a not-for-profit organization that has created some of the most trusted and reliable assessment solutions available. More than 11 million students in the US and in 140 countries worldwide use MAP Growth.

MAP Growth is a computer-adaptive test. If your child answers the question correctly, the next question is more challenging. If they answer incorrectly, the next one will be easier. This type of assessment challenges top performers without overwhelming students whose skills are below grade level.

MAP Growth uses RIT scale to accurately measure what a student knows, regardless of their grade level. It also measures growth over time, allowing you to track your child’s progress throughout the school year and across multiple years. Once your child completes a MAP Growth test, they receive a RIT score.

DO help your child prepare. That’s “prepare” not “study.” Students shouldn’t study for MAP Growth, but it’s always good to know what to expect. A little confidence building can help nervous test-takers feel more at ease, too.
