Field Day Information

You and your family are invited to join us for a school community field day event. The day will be full of fun and games! Please review this important newsletter, including the optional attached permission slip. 

  • This event is to raise money for the Best Buddies organization! 

  • Special guest appearances by the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels players, mascots, and the Chick-Fil-A cow! 

Digital Release Form For Smash-A-Car

Students and families will have the opportunity to smash a car at field day! This is an "extra" activity to help raise money for the Best Buddies organization and students can purchase swings for $5 a turn.

Add Fund to Your Student's FACTS Account
We will be selling concessions, charging $5 for three throws for the dunk tank, $5 to smash a junk car, as well as $5 for face painting. Students can either bring cash to the event or you may complete the Google Form for field day expenses to be charged through FACTS.

*Burgers and hot dogs will be available free of charge for all attendees. *Students may also bring their lunch as well.
*Carnival games, water slide, and ice cream are all free.

Dress Code
To ensure a fun and safe Field Day, please follow these guidelines for appropriate dress on Monday, April 7th. Students should arrive in their dress down attire and closed-toe shoes with their swimsuit’s underneath. 
Swim Attire Guidelines
  1. Swimsuits:
  • Boys: Swim trunks or board shorts. No overly baggy styles that may become cumbersome in the water. Rash guards or swim shirts are encouraged for added sun protection.
  • Girls: One-piece swimsuits or two-piece swimsuits that provide adequate coverage. Rash guards or swim shirts are encouraged for added sun protection.
  1. Swim Footwear:
  • Water shoes, sandals with straps, or flip-flops are recommended to protect feet on wet surfaces.
  1. Cover-Ups:
  • Students should wear a cover-up or t-shirt over swimwear when not in the water. Beach towels or lightweight clothing are also appropriate.
  1. Sun Protection:
  • Hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen should be applied before participation. Students are encouraged to bring their own sunscreen to reapply throughout the day. Students are encouraged to drink plenty of water throughout the day.
