🏃 P.E. Uniform Update

Beginning this school year, navy blue P.E. shirts will become the standard P.E. uniform.

All students are required to have an official De LaSalle Academy P.E. shirt, which is worn to school on scheduled P.E. days. Students should continue to wear their regular uniform bottoms on P.E. days. P.E. shorts are not permitted.

These shirts must be purchased through All Uniform Wear. The following options are permitted:

  • PE Shirts are now available in Navy Blue.
  • Ash gray P.E. shirts may continue to be worn while remaining inventory lasts. This style is being phased out. Students are permitted to continue wearing their ash gray P.E. shirts.

This transition will allow families to replace shirts as needed without requiring the purchase of a new shirt immediately.

🐉 New This Year: Spirit Shirt Fridays!

Last year, we noticed many students were excited to wear their De LaSalle spirit shirts on days they were not permitted. We love seeing our Dragon pride, so we're introducing Spirit Shirt Fridays!

Beginning this school year, students may wear any approved De LaSalle spirit shirt every Friday in place of their uniform polo.

To participate, students must:

  • Wear an approved De LaSalle spirit shirt.
  • Wear khaki uniform bottoms that meet the school dress code.
  • Follow all other uniform and appearance expectations.

If a student chooses to wear a spirit shirt but does not wear the required khaki uniform bottoms, they will be considered out of uniform and a parent/guardian will be contacted to bring appropriate clothing.

Spirit Shirts will be available for pre-ordering during open house and the first week of school.

We hope this new tradition gives our students another opportunity to show off their Dragon spirit while maintaining a consistent and professional appearance on campus!

🏠 New This Year: House Days!

We're excited to introduce House Days for the 2026–2027 school year!

This year, we have implemented one half-day each month to provide students with opportunities to collaborate within their Dragon Houses while teachers participate in professional development, curriculum planning, and other school improvement initiatives.

To celebrate these special days, students may dress in their assigned House color instead of wearing their regular uniform polo.

House Sorting Update
Last year, students were placed into Dragon Houses based on a survey as part of our pilot program. This year marks the official launch of our House System!

Because last year's placements were part of a trial run, some students may be assigned to a different House this year. We understand that change can be difficult, but this one-time adjustment will allow us to establish our House System for years to come.

Beginning this school year, once students are officially sorted into a House, they will remain in that House through graduation. This creates lasting traditions, friendships, and opportunities for students to build House pride throughout their time at De LaSalle Academy.

2026–2027 House Days
Students may wear their House colors on the following Wednesdays:

  • September 9
  • October 14
  • November 11
  • December 9
  • January 13
  • February 10
  • March 10
  • April 14
  • May 12
These dates are also included on the 2026–2027 Academic Calendar.

We can't wait to see our campus filled with Dragon pride as students represent their Houses throughout the year! 🐉💙💛❤️🩶

🎉 Introducing Our New Online Spirit Store!

You've asked, and we listened! We are excited to announce the launch of our brand-new De LaSalle Academy Online Spirit Store! Students now have even more ways to show their Dragon pride with a variety of new spirit wear options.

Items purchased through the online spirit store are designed for Spirit Fridays, approved Spirit Days, and Dress Down Days (when announced), provided they continue to meet all Dress Down Day guidelines outlined in our dress code.

Please note these important reminders:
  • Spirit Store apparel may only be worn on Spirit Fridays, approved Spirit Days, or Dress Down Days. It is not part of the daily school uniform.
  • Students must continue to wear their official De LaSalle Academy collared uniform polo on all regular school days.
  • Hoodies are never permitted on campus, even if they are purchased through the Spirit Store. This includes Spirit Fridays, Dress Down Days, and House Days.
  • Spirit Store jackets are also not approved for everyday uniform wear. Students who need a jacket for daily use must purchase an approved uniform jacket from All Uniform Wear.
  • If you plan to purchase an everyday school jacket, we encourage you to order early so it arrives before the cooler months.

Thank you for helping us keep our students looking great while showing off their Dragon pride! 🐉
