Good morning, De LaSalle Families!
We are excited to announce that our annual De LaSalle Academy Turkey Trot will take place on Friday, November 20, from 9:00–11:00 AM on our back field! This is always a fun event for our students as they participate in friendly competition, show off their school spirit, and enjoy a morning of physical activity with their classmates. Students will participate in a one-mile fun run and have the opportunity to compete in relay races. Families are more than welcome to attend and cheer on our Dragons!
We are also asking for your help! To ensure our students have plenty of shade throughout the morning, we are looking for families who would be willing to lend us pop-up tents or canopies for the event. If your family is able to help, please drop off your tent at the front office with your last name clearly written somewhere on the tent bag so we can ensure it is returned to the correct family following the event.
Student Pickup: Families who wish to take their students home following the Turkey Trot are more than welcome to do so! Once the event concludes at approximately 11:00 AM, parents may sign their students out through the front office. Students who remain on campus will continue with their regular lunch schedule and afternoon homeroom activities.
Non-Academic Day: Please note that Friday will be a non-academic day for our students! There will be no regular academic classes, so students do not need to bring their computers, binders, or backpacks to school.
